Job Description
The main role of the Associate is to support the Middle-East sales team in marketing and selling various FICT products in the Middle East region, targeting primarily financial institutions and the public side.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
- Improve his knowledge on Global markets products by reading term-sheets, asking questions to sales/structuring and trading
- Master all internal systems for booking, new client vetting, new contracts to be put in place
- Support the team by following up on KYCs, building of marketing pitches, execution/ booking of trades and operations/settlement issues.
- Build and maintain business relationships with clients in assigned area of responsibility
- Identify new client relationships that the bank can onboard and generate revenue from
- Identify sales opportunities that address the specific needs of our clients and work on proposals from origination to post trade process
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders internally (Coverage, Trading, structuring)
- Understand all internal controls required to carry out our activity in the region and make sure to follow all rules and processes (Regulatory, compliance, legal and suitability framework for transacting with clients)
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance or Business
result oriented, determined and able to make dependent decision
You are fluent in English and Arabic is a plus
You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, PowerPoint)
