Job Description: Cashier – Restaurant (Kerala Cuisine)
Position Title: Restaurant Cashier
Department: Front Office
Reports To: Restaurant Manager/Supervisor
Location: Calicut downtown, Kerala Cuisine , Al Ayn , Abu Dhabi
key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers and assist with billing and payment, addressing any inquiries.
- Billing & Payments: Process payments accurately via cash, credit card, and other methods using the POS system.
- Cash Management: Ensure cash register is balanced and safeguard cash and transaction records.
- Record Keeping: Maintain daily transaction logs and assist with financial reporting.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure timely order processing.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the cashier area neat and organized.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years experience, preferably in a UAE-based restaurant.
- Fluency in Malayalam is required; English is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Kerala cuisine is an advantage.
Compensation:
- Salary: From 1400 up to 1800 ( “based on experience”)
