Housekeeping Coordinator

Housekeeping, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi

We have a great opportunity for Housekeeping Coordinator (Emiratization Program) to join our Housekeeping Department. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the area, learning at different levels of responsibility, and working with a team.

Previous customer service and/or housekeeping experience in luxury hospitality/customer service is a plus.

What will you do?

Receive, record and transmit guest requests accurately
Enter accurate room status into computer daily and investigate discrepancies
Maintain and update administrative data
Maintain key control and monitor lost items within property
Adhere to Shangri-La room standards policy
Report any maintenance-related issue to the concern department
Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
Be an ambassador for the brand.
Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/management to find solutions.
