The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting, with a strong focus on using ERP systems for efficient financial management. The ideal candidate must have experience with ERP software and be able to streamline financial processes while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Use ERP software to record and track financial transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and issue invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Track expenses, purchases, and payroll transactions.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure VAT compliance and prepare tax filings as per UAE regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and process improvements.
- Support financial audits by preparing required documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or retail business.
- Must be familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations (VAT) and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
