Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Strategic Procurement:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Review and approve contracts to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Budget Management:
  • Monitor procurement budgets and expenditures.
  • Analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure alignment on budgetary issues.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess risks associated with suppliers and procurement processes.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and improve procurement practices.
