RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
- To serve guests in an assigned area under and without the supervision of a Supervisor.
- To set trolleys and trays according to procedures and policies of the department.
- To report guest comments to the supervisors.
- To ensure before delivery of order in the room that all items needed are placed on the tray or trolley.
- To collect polished glasses, crockery, cutlery and other operating equipment from dishwashing area for operation.
- To collect door knob menus overnight for trolley preparation.
- To prepare mis-en-place in In Room Dining area.
- To deliver and setup all VIP amenities.
- To pick up guest used trays and trolley from rooms and check all suite equipment is returned.
- To carry out any other duties as and when required by the Assistant Manager.
- All other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Experienced in F&B In Room Dining department in Luxury properties.
- General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Technical Skills:
- Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
