Kitchen Steward

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 1 year as Steward in a 4 star hotel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean and sanitize as instructed by his superior. Cleanliness of Hotels crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen tools etc.
  • Provide operational assistance in back of the house areas to kitchen and Restaurant areas in order for them to achieve efficient service delivery.
  • Provide high standards of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness in kitchens, dish washing and back of the house areas
  • Reports to the Steward Supervisor
  • Maintains high levels of personal hygiene for self
  • Cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing kitchens and dish washing areas
  • Washing and scrubbing cooking utensils and equipment’s
  • Washing and storing chinaware, cutlery, silverware and all related F&B items utilized in the department for producing and serving food and beverage.
  • Collecting and storing garbage
  • Assist in stock tacking and handling breakages
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and procedures in the department
  • Carry out routine maintenance operations as directed by Chief Steward and Assistant Chief Steward
  • Maintain a positive and professional climate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Experience:

  • Stewarding: 1 year (Preferred)
