Requirements:
- Minimum of `1-2 years of experience in the same role
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Arabic or Russian speaker would be an advantage
- High levels of personal grooming
- Interest and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry
- Can join immediately, preference will be given to those who are on a visit / cancelled visa
- Flexible to work in any location within UAE
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed the customer’s expectations.
- Meet and greet all guests in a warm and friendly manner, and remain attentive throughout their stay.
- Understand and anticipate customer needs, being attentive but not intrusive.
- Take reservations over the telephone by being informative and ensuring that the correct information is provided to guests at their request.
- Seat customers quickly and efficiently ensuring that their specific requirements have been met. Manage guest’s expectations regarding waiting time if a suitable table isn’t available and keep guests updated on progress.
- Manage the restaurant flow appropriately, including allocation of customers to waiting staff and their sections in the restaurant.
- Assist the waiting staff as appropriate during busy periods without impacting the guest welcome and customer service.
- Have a complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and recommend products to customers.
- See the customer to the exit, thank them and invite them to return again.
- Ensure all administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner, including customer database cards.
- Carry out all additional tasks as requested by management.
