Chef de Partie (CDP)
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a designated section in the kitchen, ensuring food quality and consistency.
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and standards.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and ingredients are fresh.
  • Assist in menu development and daily specials as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-paced kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and presentation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for food and cooking.

Commis Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking food items.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe standards and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Assist in inventory management and storage of food items.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and properly maintained.
  • Follow the instructions from the Chef de Partie and contribute to daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary school graduate preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop culinary skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and cooking tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Help in receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required, but willingness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items
