We are seeking a reliable and responsible Pickup Ton Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a pickup truck to transport materials, equipment, and goods to and from various locations. This role requires strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, excellent driving skills, and a focus on safety and efficiency. The Pickup Ton Driver will work closely with other team members to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a pickup truck (1-ton or similar vehicle) to transport materials, equipment, and goods to various locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling and secure transportation of materials.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., oil, tires, lights) and report any issues or maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Plan routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery and pickup of materials.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and receipts as required.
• Assist with loading and unloading items manually when necessary.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Inspect goods before transport to ensure they are properly packed, secured, and ready for transit.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained according to company standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing proper safety gear when required.
• Maintain proper documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and any other relevant paperwork.
• Assist in other tasks around the site or office as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating a pickup truck or similar vehicle.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed (up to [X lbs]).
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of roadways, routes, and traffic laws.
