Full job description

We are currently looking for Restaurant – STOREKPEEER to join Immediately.

Candidate must meet the following Criteria’s below;

  • with Valid Transferable Qatar ID
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a food and beverage retail environment (RESTAURANTS).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures, stock management, and quality control principles.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory tracking.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.

SCOPE OF WORKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of all incoming food and beverage shipments.
  • Properly store and arrange products in designated areas, ensuring efficient space utilization.
  • Regularly monitor stock levels and anticipate inventory needs based on sales trends and customer demands.
  • Initiate purchase orders or requisitions to replenish stock and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and address inventory inaccuracies.

2. Order Fulfillment and Stock Rotation

  • Process customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring the correct items are picked, packed, and labeled.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to schedule timely deliveries and maintain a smooth supply chain.
  • Implement a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize product expiration.
  • Conduct regular checks for expired or damaged items, and promptly remove them from the inventory.

3. Quality Control and Compliance

  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain the freshness and quality of food and beverage products.
  • Conduct regular inspections of storage areas to ensure cleanliness, proper temperature control, and compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Monitor product shelf life and implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize product utilization.
  • Maintain accurate records of all received and disbursed products, ensuring compliance with documentation and reporting requirements.

4. Customer Service and Communication

  • Assist customers in locating specific products, providing information on product availability, pricing, and alternatives.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other store staff and departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

5. Equipment and Maintenance

  • Operate and maintain necessary equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and storage racks.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor and control store expenses related to storage, equipment, and supplies.
