POSITION PURPOSE:The CRM and Even Trainee will support efforts to build awareness of our Beauty Pass loyalty events through pre- and post-event communications to Beauty Pass members. This includes assisting in the development of a communication plan – with a focus on emails and SMS messages – and leading on all communications execution end-to-end. As part of this execution, the trainee will be responsible for the creation of event emails/SMS messages, setting up on relevant deployment platforms and sending out as required. To drive this execution, the Trainee will bring strong organization, attention to detail and creativity to the role. He/she will also have strong collaboration and the ability to work across teams to ensure effective event messaging and alignment to overall branding.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Event Communications Support:
- Support in the creation of member communication plans for each upcoming loyalty event with a focus on email and SMS messages.
Email/SMS Execution Excellence:
- Support in the creation of detailed SMS and email plans per event including segmentation, storytelling/messaging and deployment timelines.
- Execute and lead the design of email/messages ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, event theme and more.
- Execute campaigns using our Adobe platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
Campaign Analytics, Reporting and Optimization:
- Leverage available platforms (Adobe Campaign Manager, Power BI) to pull basic event reporting with a focus on open rates and click rates (for emails/SMS).
Stakeholder Collaboration and Management:
- Stay on top of all upcoming events and ensure constant updates to all email/SMS executions.
- Oversee all competitor event communications and share best practices/inspiration.
SKILLS, QUALITIFCATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, CRM or similar
- Passion for CRM with a focus on email and/or SMS marketing
- Analytical mindset who enjoys high-attention projects that require data, segmentation and reporting
- Data-savvy, result-driven and comfortable with Excel
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) and ability to work in teams
- Able to multi-task projects, remain organized and maintain strong attention to detail
