Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the highest health, safety, and environmental standards across our construction sites. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of UAE-based construction HSE experience, with proven expertise in compliance, audits, training, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE management systems (HSEMS) on site.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks.
  • Lead accident/incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all site personnel strictly adhere to PPE and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain safety documentation, including incident logs and audit reports.
  • Provide HSE training and induction for workers and staff.
  • Prepare project-specific risk assessments and HSE plans.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure safety culture and compliance.
  • Ensure site hygiene, sanitation, and workers’ welfare.
  • Prepare and submit monthly HSE performance reports.
  • Display safety signage and oversee compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • NEBOSH IGC (Essential)
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • ISO 45001: Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
  • ISO 14001: Environmental Management System
  • COSHH Risk Assessor Certificate
  • BBS in the Workplace
  • Fire Safety & First Aid Certification

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
