We are looking for an experienced Draftsman / Designer – Joinery Detailer to create highly accurate shop drawings and detailed technical drawings specifically for custom joinery.

The scope includes drafting detailed designs for woodwork, cabinetry, kitchens and home furniture and modular joinery, ensuring efficient fabrication and on-site installation.

This role will also support with client submissions and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Joinery Shop Drawings:

– Develop detailed shop drawings for custom joinery items such as cabinetry, wardrobes,

doors, windows, wall claddings, and other millwork items.

– Ensure all drawings align with project specifications, material requirements, and

industry standards.

2. Detailed Joinery Construction Drawings:

– Prepare precise layouts, sections, elevations, and exploded views.

– Include all technical specifications, dimensions, material details, hardware integration,

and finishes.

– Provide detailed connections, joints, and assembly methods for manufacturing and onsite

installation.

3. Coordination with Production Teams:

– Collaborate with production/fabrication teams to ensure seamless execution of

designs.

– Ensure all designs are practical, manufacturable, and meet client expectations.

4. Revisions and Modifications:

– Revise drawings as per feedback or changes in project scope.

– Maintain version control and ensure all stakeholders are updated with the latest

revisions.

5. Proficiency:

Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software to create technical drawings.

– Use 3D modelling tools for complex joinery designs when required.

– Must be highly skilled in Sketch up

– Adobe suite softwares such as photoshop, lightroom, illustrator and photo shop

6. Site and Installation Support:

– Provide technical drawings for on-site installation teams, ensuring alignment with site

conditions.
