Job Summary:
We are seeking friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented Cashiers to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashiers will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing outstanding service while processing sales, handling payments, and answering general inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for ticket sales, merchandise, food & beverage, and other transactions.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments safely and accurately.
- Issue receipts, or change to customers as needed.
- Assist customers by answering questions about pricing, products, services, or promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area at all times.
- Follow opening and closing procedures for the cashier station.
- Monitor inventory levels at the cashier station (e.g., wristbands, merchandise, snacks, etc.) and report shortages to management.
- Assist with basic administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
- Support team members during busy periods (e.g., helping with parties, play areas, or customer inquiries).
- Handle customer concerns and escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, positive attitude and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus (training will be provided).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and move small items (up to 15 lbs).
