Full job description

We are seeking for Store Keeper to manage inventory and supplies in our construction/steel warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, coordinating materials for projects, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Issue materials to workers based on project requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of steel materials, construction tools, and equipment.
  • Keep track of stock movement and generate inventory reports.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for material restocking.
  • Monitor and enforce safety and security measures in the store.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Requirements:

✔ Experience: Minimum 4-7 years in a similar role, preferably in the construction/steel industry.
✔ Education: Bachelors or certification in inventory management is a plus.
✔ Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of steel materials, construction tools, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
