Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced TIG Welder with at least 5 years of experience in welding a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, welding specifications, and fabricating high-quality components in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and alloys.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure weld precision.
• Ensure welds meet the required quality standards, inspecting and testing welds for strength and durability.
• Set up welding machines based on job specifications and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment, performing minor repairs when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality goals are met.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on welding equipment.
• Work with different welding positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead) as required by project demands.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a TIG Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Certification: Welder certification preferred (AWS, ASME, or similar).
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in TIG welding on various metals including stainless steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and welding schematics.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and different welding positions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to work overtime if necessary to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other welding techniques (MIG, Stick welding).
• Experience in pipe welding or complex fabrication projects.
• Experience with automated welding machinery.
