Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced hostess for a luxury hotel in Doha.Responsibilities:Welcome guests to the venueProvide accurate wait times and monitor waiting listsManage reservationsEscort customers to assigned dining or bar areasProvide menus and announce Waiter/Waitresss nameGreet customers upon their departureCoordinate with wait staff about available seating optionsMaintain a clean reception areaCater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)Answer incoming calls and address customers queriesAssist wait staff as neededQualification:Previous work experience as a Host/HostessUnderstanding of restaurant etiquetteFamiliarity with health and safety regulationsExperience in managing reservationsDemonstrable customer-service skillsExcellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar areaAvailability to work in shifts as neededGood physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shiftHigh school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus
