Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleanersTrain and mentor new team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectivelyConduct regular inspections to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and presentationMonitor and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as neededCollaborate with other departments, such as guest services and maintenance, to address any guest concerns or maintenance issuesEnsure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulationsAssist with scheduling and assigning duties to housekeeping team members, taking into account guest occupancy levels and special requestsConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote a positive and productive work environmentParticipate in regular meetings with management to discuss housekeeping operations and make recommendations for improvementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hospitalityStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team membersExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsKnowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning productsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFluent in English, additional languages a plus
