We are seeking to recruit a customer service executive, with experience within the logistics domain handling pharmaceutical clients.
About the job
Create documents required for export or import of goods. Documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, load list, etc.
Assist with customer inquiries on export or import procedures.
Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other transportation providers to ensure that shipments are delivered / collected on time ; proactively highlight customs and shipment issues.
Maintain records of all import and export transactions, track shipments and prepare reports.
Update shipment related information into SAP system.
Ensure proper customs documentation is used for import and export shipments. Track relevant BOE and claim numbers through Dubai trade for compliance.
Monitor product damages and insurance procedures.
Monitor special cargo requirements like temperature control, DG and demo cargo.
Assess freight forwarder/transporter performance.
Provide necessary reports to the management as required.
About you
Prior experience required within the customer service, pharma and the logistics industry (2-5 years).
Experience handling air, road and sea shipments.
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the quality policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Requires basic conceptual and technical knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within own job function.
No supervisory responsibility; accountable for own contributions and meeting objectives with guidance more senior level roles/manager.
Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Compiles and organizes data/ information to support discussions and inform decision making.
