The Role
We are looking for a results-driven Accounting Manager with a strong foundation in audit, reconciliation, and compliance to oversee the financial operations of our client’s growing construction business. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading accounting functions, preferably with a background in top-tier audit accounting firms and a solid understanding of international transactions and regional tax requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations • Manage and lead monthly and annual financial closings and reporting processes • Handle financial audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors for timely completion • Monitor and reconcile project-specific financial transactions and cost allocations • Ensure accuracy in intercompany and international transactions • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax) and prepare accurate tax filings • Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Prepare detailed financial reports for management and project stakeholders • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance support staff
