Full job description

  • Ensuring that the cover sheet(s) is maintained and filed daily
  • Check with guests/ Customers for their satisfaction and get feedback from guests / Customers.
  • Print the guest / Customers bills with accurate items and prices
  • Settle the guest / Customers bills as per the mode of payment (Cash or credit card)
  • Daily closing procedure is followed as per the set guidelines
  • Tally the cash transaction and deposit it to Front Office at the end of the shift
  • Tally the Cash float, the float should not be used for any personal reason at any given point of time..
  • Tally the credit card transaction and highlight the discrepancy if any to Income Auditor
  • Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacy
  • Reports all potential and real hazards appropriately
  • Supports a safe hotel by applying hotel regulations, and adhering to existing laws and regulations
  • Maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct
  • Stays updated with activities in the hotel by reviewing the communication log book for each shift and updates log book for next shift
  • Continuously seeks to endeavor professionalism in own job function
  • Attends scheduled briefing and regular training sessions
  • Helps out in other areas when needed by the management
  • Carries out any other duty that may be assigned by the management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the same position in a 4 to 5 Star Hotel or a in an Accounts Firm.
  • Age: 20 to 35 Years
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Strong professional ethics, maintaining client confidentiality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems.
  • Positive, Yes I can personality
