KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, executes and drives (luxury) leisure segment strategy for the markets and account base assigned. Prepares action plans against existing as well as new target accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets. Proactively identifies and uncovers new prospect accounts for acquisition through a variety of channels and sales tools. Converts new accounts into loyal accounts through targeted sales activities, maximising rooms but also groups/catering revenues for the hotel. Attends trade shows, conferences, industry meetings, networking events, workshops, etc. Plans and executes national & international sales trips (travel is required), sales calls, site inspections, familiarization trips and client entertainments. Develops strong internal/external customer relationships.
Analyses and maintains business relationships/knowledge of customers, market trends and competition. Participates in regular business reviews and sales meetings. Provides progress reports to direct supervisor. Monitors, collects and analyses data and communicates all information as required.
Coordinates internally with the relevant departments in the planning, administration and execution of selected client functions, correspondence and communication to customers, in-house VIP guests, reporting, other sales and marketing activities and overall duties as assigned.
