Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Barista to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, pastries, and light food items while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages to company standards
• Warm, plate, and serve pastries and light food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area and equipment
• Greet customers, take orders, and handle transactions efficiently
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee, pastries, and supplies
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
• Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive team atmosphere

Qualifications:

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and POS (point-of-sale) system skills
• Passion for coffee, food, and creating a great customer experience
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions:

• On your feet for extended periods
• Occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs
• Exposure to hot equipment and sharp utensils
