Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve high-quality beverages, ensuring each drink meets the established standards for taste and presentation.
  • Engage with customers to take orders efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, conducting regular cleaning and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring that all payments are processed securely.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor new staff members, sharing knowledge of techniques and service standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or food service is a plus.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced coffee shop or restaurant setting.
  • Certification in food safety or barista training is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous for diverse clientele.
  • Strong technical skills in operating espresso machines and other relevant equipment.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of orders efficiently.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic, willing to go the extra mile for customers.
