Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft and serve high-quality beverages, ensuring each drink meets the established standards for taste and presentation.
- Engage with customers to take orders efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, conducting regular cleaning and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring that all payments are processed securely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor new staff members, sharing knowledge of techniques and service standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or food service is a plus.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced coffee shop or restaurant setting.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in customer service roles, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous for diverse clientele.
- Strong technical skills in operating espresso machines and other relevant equipment.
- Excellent multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of orders efficiently.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic, willing to go the extra mile for customers.
