Cashier

Role Summary:

Handles cash float, petty cash, guest bill, invoices, sales deposit, foreign exchange, knowledge of software used as well use of cash register.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Meet & Greet practice at all times
  • Operating cash register and other electronics
  • Receiving payments by cash, credit cards, or automatic debits
  • Issues receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
  • Ensure that there is adequate change
  • Maintains clean and orderly check out areas
  • Taking orders through phone and answers phone query regarding reservations, menu and other restaurant related questions
  • Getting food to the proper table at the right time
  • Clearing dirty plates and silverware
  • Responding to other guest needs
  • Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
  • Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant
  • Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented and courteous
  • Provide excellent dining experience to guests
  • Comply with SOPs, SOS, Company Policies and Procedures
