Role Summary:
Handles cash float, petty cash, guest bill, invoices, sales deposit, foreign exchange, knowledge of software used as well use of cash register.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Meet & Greet practice at all times
- Operating cash register and other electronics
- Receiving payments by cash, credit cards, or automatic debits
- Issues receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Ensure that there is adequate change
- Maintains clean and orderly check out areas
- Taking orders through phone and answers phone query regarding reservations, menu and other restaurant related questions
- Getting food to the proper table at the right time
- Clearing dirty plates and silverware
- Responding to other guest needs
- Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
- Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant
- Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented and courteous
- Provide excellent dining experience to guests
- Comply with SOPs, SOS, Company Policies and Procedures
