The Role

The Company Secretary will play a crucial role in ensuring corporate governance and compliance.

  • Serve as the main contact for the board, shareholders, and regulatory bodies
  • Coordinate and facilitate board meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Draft and file statutory documents
  • Maintain corporate records and statutory books
  • Advise on corporate governance best practices
  • Manage shareholder communications and organise annual general meetings

The Candidate

The ideal Company Secretary will possess the following skills and attributes.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible, dependable, and able to take initiative
  • Ability to build confidence, respect, and trust with others
