Job duties

Responsibilities of the Daily Nanny in Dubai include:

• Provide daily care and support to six-year-old twins, primarily focusing on the boy with special educational needs (SEN)
• Collaborate with another nanny who will be responsible for the little girl
• Work closely with the child’s team of therapists to support his development and behaviour, implementing their guidance and strategies
• Establish and maintain firm boundaries, particularly for the boy, while offering a nurturing and supportive environment
• Source educational resources and plan activities and educational experiences tailored to the children’s needs
• Liaise with therapists, parents, and other household staff to ensure cohesive care and support
• Prepare for and accompany the family on regular international travels
• Attend meetings and manage child-related duties, as required
• Support the family in ensuring a stable and consistent approach to the child’s care

Candidates must be/have:

• A minimum of 6-10 years of experience working as a Nanny
• A good background in SEN with similar aged children – would be desirable
• Energetic, active, and able to keep up with the demands of caring for young children with developmental needs
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in working with parents and therapists
• Highly flexible and adaptable to the family’s spontaneous travel schedule
• A commitment to providing at least 2 years of consistent care to ensure stability for the children
• Training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is highly advantageous
• Experience in working within an intergenerational family set-up is a plus
