Full job description

• Operate Heavy Vehicles: Safely drive and operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, or large transport vehicles.
• Transport Goods/Passengers: Deliver goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations, following routes and schedules.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks on the vehicle, including fuel, oil, and tires. Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Load and Unload Cargo: When necessary, assist with loading and unloading cargo from the vehicle, ensuring goods are secured properly.
• Route Planning: Follow set routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient operation. Adapt to changing road conditions or reroutes as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of vehicle inspections, deliveries, and any incidents, including logs of working hours.
• Customer Interaction: If transporting passengers, maintain professional behavior and ensure passenger safety and comfort.
• Emergency Handling: Know basic emergency procedures and be able to handle minor vehicle breakdowns or incidents.
