Job Title: Retail Floor Manager – Hypermarket

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on the retail floor to ensure a smooth and efficient customer shopping experience.
  • Monitor product displays, shelf stocking, and cleanliness of the floor to maintain high visual standards.
  • Support the implementation of promotional displays, seasonal changes, and pricing updates.
  • Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and timely replenishment.
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate floor staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet performance goals.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor sales performance and report any issues or trends to store management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, health & safety standards, and loss prevention measures.
  • Stay informed about product categories, competitor activities, and local market trends.
  • Assist in the training of new floor staff and support store opening or refurbishment projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a hypermarket or large retail store.
  • Strong knowledge of retail floor operations, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with retail POS and stock management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
