Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Takeaway Window Food Runner / Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English (with Arabic language skills as a bonus) and will be responsible for ensuring prompt, accurate service at our takeaway window and to customers waiting in their cars. This individual will uphold our branding, packaging, and cleanliness standards, while also building positive relationships with our customers by remembering their names, preferences, and orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction & Order Taking
• Greet customers at the takeaway window and politely take their orders.
• Offer assistance and menu recommendations in clear, well-spoken English; Arabic fluency is a plus for serving Arabic-speaking clientele.
• Efficiently handle orders from customers waiting in their cars, ensuring a seamless drive-up experience.
• Food Running & Presentation
• Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to customers.
• Ensure all items are correctly packaged, labeled, and meet our branding guidelines.
• Verify order accuracy before handing over to the customer.
• Branding & Cleanliness
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization at the takeaway window and surrounding areas.
• Confirm all packaging and presentation align with our branding standards.
• Follow company guidelines on food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Customer Relationships & Personalization
• Remember regular customers by name and greet them warmly.
• Keep notes of their orders and preferences to provide a personalized experience.
• Offer loyalty incentives or inform them of ongoing promotions when appropriate.
• Team Collaboration
• Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prioritized, accurate, and timely.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to handle any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Cash Handling & Point of Sale
• Process payments accurately, ensuring correct handling of cash or card transactions.
• Maintain a tidy and efficient payment area, and address any discrepancies immediately.
