Full job description

• Supervise and lead site labor and subcontractors to ensure work is completed as per drawings and specifications.
• Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks to workers to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor site progress and report issues or delays to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and that workers use proper PPE and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings and coordinate with site engineers to clarify design details.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment inventory on site.
• Train and guide workers on proper construction techniques and safety practices.
• Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, ensuring minimal wastage.
• Maintain site discipline and enforce company policies among workers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical certificate; diploma in Civil or Construction is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within UAE construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to read drawings.
• Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and local authority requirements.
• Basic proficiency in English (speaking, reading); knowledge of other languages like Hindi or Arabic is a plus.
