Full job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure guests are greeted upon arrival
  • To open car doors for arriving and departing guests and escort them to lobby
  • To maintain up to date knowledge of the hotel products and services and supply information to respond to guest queries
  • To keep a tab on the vehicle and report to the respective hotel authority in case of maintenance or repair need.
  • To keep a record of all the incidents while driving for example any accidents or tickets. He is also responsible to report to his/ her superior regarding all such incidents.
  • To meet all the comfort requirements of the hotel guests and customer.
  • To ensure safe and easy travel for the customers/ guests to their destinations or to the hotel.
  • To assist the guests in any travel or destination regarding issues by applying his/ her knowledge of the local area.
  • To file the record of the timings for which the vehicle was used and the purpose to his/ her superior.
  • To comply with all the traffic/ road rules and regulation of the state while also following the policies of the hotel authorities.
  • To always maintain an awareness of the car park and front entrance
  • To ensure effective handover is done, gaining information from earlier shift
  • To ensure that an effective handover is made to the night shift in conjunction with the early shift
  • To forward all guest complaints or problems to the Manager on Duty
  • Performs any trips and drives with the hotel car/bust as requested
  • Control all guests’ car keys
  • To establish, promote and maintain good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations
  • Ensures the parking spaces, hotel cars and buses are in good condition and cleanliness is to the maximum
  • Safely transport in drop and pick up of all employees to and from accommodation.
