Full job description

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This includes supervising staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, managing inventory and supplies, and addressing any guest requests or issues. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing a clean and comfortable environment for guests.

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff. 

Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards. 

Train and mentor housekeeping staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment. 

Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness. 

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed. 

Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services. 

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 

Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget. 

Maintain records of housekeeping activities and prepare reports as required. 

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role. 

Strong leadership and team management skills. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness. 

Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues effectively. 

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. 

Degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
