Full job description

Zahr Freighters is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Executive to manage and support various human resources functions at our Dubai office. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with people and is passionate about building a productive, engaged, and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
  • Manage payroll inputs and liaise with the accounts team for timely salary disbursement.
  • Support performance management processes and annual appraisals.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives and company-wide engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR management systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
