Indoor Sales Executive

Overview

Joga Ram General Trading LLC, a leading name in the trading of building materials in Dubai, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Indoor Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the building materials trading industry, with strong retail shop sales experience. You will play a vital role in attending walk-in customers, maintaining client relationships, and supporting overall sales operations from our retail location.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Attend walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable building materials from our product range.
  • Sales Generation: Drive in-store sales by actively engaging with customers, upselling products, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s building materials, their specifications, and their applications.
  • Order Processing: Accurately prepare quotations, invoices, and process sales orders.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with the storekeeper to manage stock levels and ensure product availability.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and small project clients for repeat business.
  • Reporting: Maintain daily sales records and prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer service excellence.
  • Market Awareness: Keep updated on new product launches, promotions, and market competition.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the building materials trading industry, with hands-on experience in retail shop sales.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in commerce, or any certification related to Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. ( Not mandatory if you have experience and basic communication skills)
  • Skills:
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP systems preferred).
  • Personality: Energetic, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Presentable appearance and professional behavior.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple customers simultaneously.
