We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our servers and network systems, while providing support to users and maintaining documentation of IT processes.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, server hardware, and application software on various platforms (Windows, etc.).
Network Administration: Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches, ensuring optimal performance and security.
User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues, assisting end-users with software and hardware problems.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability. Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
Security Management: Monitor system security, apply patches, and implement security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and breaches.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess system performance, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. Update internal knowledge bases as needed.
Collaboration: Work with other team members on projects and initiatives, providing insights and support for system upgrades and improvements.
Training and Guidance: Provide training and support to users regarding best practices for IT systems and applications.
