Job Description

Our Client is a leading provider of hydraulic equipment solutions, specializing in high-powered hydraulic systems. They are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team in Qatar.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on hydraulic-powered equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic components, ensuring all parts are functioning correctly and safely.
• Test and calibrate hydraulic systems and equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment status.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and assist in training new staff as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests and perform field service as required.
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the reliability and performance of equipment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to hydraulic systems.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience as an Mechanical, specifically with hydraulic-powered heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and related systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to travel and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Willing to work alternate Saturdays
• Willing to work on shifting the schedule
• With transferrable IQAMA/Visa in Qatar
