Innov8 Products FZC is a leading manufacturer of blinds and curtains, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description:

Position Overview: The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring we maintain adequate stock levels, and continually improving our supply chain systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in manufacturing, preferably within the blinds and curtains industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of logistics, local market products, and experience dealing with Chinese suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and products.
  • Stock Management: Develop and implement systems to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing overstocking or stockouts.
  • Inventory Control: Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock records.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify the quality of received goods, coordinating with suppliers on any discrepancies or defects.
  • Supplier Relations: Actively search for new suppliers and build strong relationships to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain.
  • Cost Optimization: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed about the products available in the local market and emerging trends in the industry.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work hand in hand with our PRO to ensure we are getting the best prices for shipping, consolidating goods where possible and ensuring that we meet our ETA of goods and materials promised to customers.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve procurement and supply chain processes, implementing new systems and technologies where appropriate.
  • Responsiveness: Quickly and effectively respond to procurement needs and challenges, demonstrating agility and problem-solving skills.

Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate with other departments to align procurement activities with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to inform procurement decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement,preferably in the blinds and curtains industry.
  • Skills:
  • Must have excellent English proficiency
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently

Working Conditions:
