Job Title: Restaurant Cashier – Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Anglers Fish and Chips, a leading quick-service restaurant (QSR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly dining experience.
• Accurately handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions using the POS system.
• Process customer orders efficiently and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in answering customer inquiries about menu items and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
• Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a QSR or fast-paced environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle transactions under pressure during peak hours.
• Personal Qualities:
• Languages: English proficiency is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
