Retail Development Manager

This position will be based in Dubai, UAE; and will report to the MEIA Regional Category Development Manager – Retail & Projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage innovative retail programs and solutions to create exceptional shopping experiences in retail shops and online, driving customer engagement and motivation to buy Jotun products.
  • Oversee and enhance key retail initiatives including Jotun Way, and Jotun shop concepts, to improve stakeholder experiences and foster regional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional furniture and home improvement stores to ensure prominent representation and increase footfall to Jotun stores.
  • Design and implement targeted programs for retail stakeholders, including homeowners, dealers, painters, and professionals, to enhance engagement and loyalty.
  • Lead initiatives to drive retail innovation by introducing selling tools, inspirational solutions, and the latest product and color launches to improve customer experiences and achieve business results.
  • Plan and manage the regional retail budget, analyze performance data for programs and campaigns, and monitor industry trends to support data-driven decision-making and sustainable growth.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Retail, Trade Marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Exposure to different markets is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for market visits and business trips.
