DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sign the daily attendance record and attend morning briefing with supervisor.
2. Collect the section key and suite allocation list from the housekeeping office.
3. Ensure that sufficient guest supplies and linen are neatly stacked on the guest service trolley.
4. Clean and makes-up occupied rooms according to given standards:
Ø Making beds – changing bed-sheets and pillow cases
Ø Cleaning bathrooms and fittings
Ø Cleaning walls, curtains, ceilings etc.
Ø Dusting and cleaning furniture
Ø Changing towels – bath towels, had towels, face towels etc.
Ø Replenish guest supplies – matches, stationeries, facial tissues, etc.
Ø Emptying and cleaning ashtrays and waste-bins
Ø Cleaning all kitchen accessories
Ø Washing all kitchen utensils
Ø Cleaning wardrobe, air condition, windows, mirrors, etc.
Ø Vacuum cleaning and shampooing carpets when necessary
5. Ensure that the company’s standard of cleanliness and set-ups are maintained in the assigned suites.
6. Inspect all facilities, furniture and fixtures.
7. Check complimentary Fruit basket and inform any replenishment of ageing fruits.
8. Collect guests’ laundry on pre-determined time on a daily basis.
9. Collect all soiled linen and place it in the laundry bin for collection at regular interval to avoid overflow of linen bag.
10. Collect stained linen separately and bring it to the housekeeping office for inspection.
11. Attend to guest requests and queries courteously and promptly in the course of duty.
12. Cleans and maintains service area corridors, toilets and linen room.
13. Clean and stow all cleaning equipments neatly inform any repair to Floor Supervisor.
14. Re-stock the guest service trolley for the next day.
Report and turn over lost and found articles to housekeeping office
