Sales Development Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Sales Development Specialist for the rental department is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and driving the growth of Futad’s rental products across various market segments. This role will involve working closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs. You will play a pivotal role in expanding market reach, building relationships, and contributing to revenue growth in line with Futad’s vision for innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities for the rental department through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and proposing rental solutions that align with their event or corporate objectives.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing to align campaigns, product teams to stay updated on the latest rental offerings, and operations to ensure seamless execution of rental contracts.
  • Rental Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Futad’s rental product lines, including photobooths, VR setups, kiosks, and digital displays, ensuring you can confidently present these offerings to potential clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in CRM software, ensuring that opportunities are properly tracked and followed up on, from initial contact to close.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Develop tailored proposals and rental packages, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies.
  • Market Expansion: Assist in identifying new market segments and geographic areas where Futad’s rental services can grow, contributing to the strategic expansion of the department.
  • Client Feedback: Gather and relay client feedback to the product and operations teams, helping improve the rental experience and services offered.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably within events, technology rentals, or related industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for technology and understanding of immersive event experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in event technology rentals or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with photobooths, VR experiences, kiosks, or digital signage technologies.
  • Experience in handling sales proposals and contract negotiations.
