The Lead Owner is responsible for managing and nurturing leads throughout the entire sales process. You will own a defined set of leads, ensuring they are engaged, qualified, and guided through the sales funnel with the aim of converting them into customers. The role involves close collaboration with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless experience for the leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Review and assess inbound leads to determine their potential for conversion. Utilize lead scoring techniques to prioritize high-quality leads.
- Engagement: Establish and maintain communication with leads via email, phone calls, webinars, or in-person meetings to build strong relationships.
- Lead Nurturing: Develop personalized outreach strategies to move leads through various stages of the sales pipeline. Provide relevant content and resources to keep leads engaged.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handovers and alignment on lead status.
- CRM Management: Ensure all lead interactions are logged and updated in the CRM system to provide visibility to other team members and track progress.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on lead performance metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline progression, and overall effectiveness of lead nurturing strategies.
- Market and Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the company’s products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape to better inform your conversations with leads.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and recommend improvements to lead management processes and strategies to enhance lead conversion.
Qualifications:
Experience: at least 1 year in a sales, marketing, or lead management role (experience in B2B or B2C sales is a plus).
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and lead nurturing platforms.
