Showroom Cashier

Full job description

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions while ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
  • Entering all the sales, receipt and payment vouchers in Tally ERP system.
  • Always keeping all sales transaction updated in the system.
  • Greet and assist customers, offering product information and recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the showroom’s product range and promotions.
  • Assist customers in product selection, providing demonstrations if needed.
  • Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom.
  • Re-stock shelves and ensure displays are attractive and updated.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock counting and updating.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and professional environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a cashier is a plus point
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable nature.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Candidate should be honest
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
