As the Storekeeper/Warehouse In Charge, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all goods are stored, organized, and distributed efficiently. This includes overseeing inventory control, maintaining warehouse organization, managing shipping and receiving processes, and collaborate to achieve the company’s goals for inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify spare parts from parts catalogs and inquire with local and overseas suppliers.
- Manage and process supplier invoices, ensuring they align with requisitions and evaluate the quantity of merchandise received.
- Receive, inspect, and sort incoming deliveries and shipments of spare parts and supplies.
- Warehouse Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that stock is received, stored, and dispatched in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, track product movements, and ensure stock levels are optimized. Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring that products are received on time and in good condition, and shipments are accurately processed and dispatched.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure that the warehouse is always clean, organized, and well-maintained. Properly label, store, and manage goods to minimize the risk of damage or loss.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure all staff are trained in warehouse safety and equipment handling.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records for inventory, stock movements, and team performance. Provide regular reports to the Warehouse Manager.
- Problem-Solving: Address any operational issues, including inventory discrepancies, product damage, or shipping delays, and work to resolve them efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse or storekeeping roles.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications, inventory management software and MS Office.
- Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
