Full job description

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to join our catering company in RAK. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years’ experience managing stores or inventory, preferably in the food and beverage or catering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store all incoming supplies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Issue supplies to kitchen, canteen, and cafe staff as requested, following proper procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly inventory checks.
  • Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper rotation of food items (FIFO method).
  • Ensure that all storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team for stock replenishment.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately to management.
  • Maintain records of receipts, issues, and returns.
  • Assist in preparing inventory reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar storekeeper role, preferably in catering or food service.
  • Strong understanding of stock management, food safety, and handling procedures.
  • Good English communication skills (reading and basic writing).
  • Familiar with inventory software or willing to learn.
  • Attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of responsibility.
  • Ability to lift and move stock items when needed.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork spirit.

Salary:
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
