We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper / Inventory Controller to manage and optimize inventory for our Interior Fitout & Joinery division. The ideal candidate should have experience handling raw materials, tools, and consumables specific to joinery and fitout works, ensuring efficient stock management and minimal material wastage.

Responsibilities

Oversee stock levels for both fast-moving and slow-moving items. Track stock movements (in and out) and maintain accurate records in the inventory system. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure physical stock matches system records. Implement stock control measures to minimize material leakage, loss, and discrepancies.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material receipts. Supervise safe loading/unloading of raw materials using forklifts, manpower, or pallet trucks. Verify deliveries against purchase orders, material specifications, and drawings. Report damaged or missing goods immediately to procurement and finance.

Maintain a well-organized and optimized storage system for easy access and space maximization. Label and store materials in designated areas following proper inventory procedures. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) stock rotation to prevent material wastage.

Maintain records of all store orders, ensuring accurate tracking of requested and received items. Process internal and external stock requisitions promptly. Maintain detailed records of items purchased, issued, and returned.

Ensure raw materials are properly packed, labeled, and documented.

Monitor stock levels to detect theft, loss, or unauthorized use of materials. Ensure the store is secure at all times and follows safety protocols.

Receive and issue new tools from procurement as per site requirements. Maintain a daily tool issuance register and ensure retrieval at the end of each shift. Conduct periodic audits of personalized tools to track availability and condition.
