• Supervise staff to weigh, classify, route, and apply routing labels to each shipment.
• Ensure that the necessary equipment and tools are available for daily operations.
• Supervise, control and direct the operational personnel under his/her charge.
• Develop the training and development of the personnel under your charge.
• Determine the pre-alerts issued to the locations, reporting the amount of cargo that will arrive at each of them.
• Prepare and submit return indicators to the Shipping Control area.
• Implement contingency plans
