Role and Responsibilities
The server – waiter/waitress position is vital for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers. This role plays a significant role in upholding top-notch customer service standards. We require candidates with excellent communication skills who can excel in the fast-paced restaurant environment. A bachelor’s degree in hotel management or a high school diploma along with another diploma is a requirement, and candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience. We’re actively seeking dedicated professionals who can help enhance our guests’ dining experiences.
In addition to your education and experience, a strong commitment to excellent customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a bustling restaurant setting are prerequisites for this role. Responsibilities
· Warmly greet and escort customers to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
· Present menus and provide detailed information, including portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
· Prepare tables meticulously, setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
· Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations upon request.
· Skillfully upsell additional products when appropriate.
· Take precise food and drink orders using a HACCP ordering software, order slips, or memorization.
· Verify customers’ ids to ensure compliance with age requirements for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
· Efficiently communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
· Serve food and drink orders with professionalism and timeliness.
· Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, promptly reporting any issues.
· Maintain table settings and ensure a spotless dining area.
· Accurately deliver checks and collect bill payments.
· Carefully transport dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
· Collaborate with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations, including parties.
· Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.
· Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing any guest concerns.
· Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take proactive steps to correct any issues.

· Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress.
· Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering information systems
